HOW DO I KNOW IF I NEED THERAPY?
Excellent question to start with! Obviously the best person to judge this is yourself. To start with, let's look at the following questions and if you find yourself connecting with at least one of these (or more), then it's probably time to get help:
Do you feel that there is stuff inside you that you want to share with someone but are hesitant to, for various reasons?
Are you struggling with anything - sleep issues, anxiety, negative thoughts, fear, inability to handle your emotions etc.?
Is the way you think & feel impacting you and those around you?
Has there been some major change in your life that you are having difficulty coping or adjusting to?
Find yourself thinking of ways to handle what's bothering you occupying at least for an hour each day?
Feeling completely numb or tired and just don't know what's causing it?
WHAT IS THERAPY? IS IT DIFFERENT FROM COUNSELING? CONFUSED?
Therapy, Counseling, Talking to someone...these are all different sides of the same object. The core is to help the individual cope with the issues they're faced with:
Talking to someone - This can be a conversation you're having with someone you trust - it could be a friend or family member. It can help you feel "lighter"
Counseling - A professional counselor helps you in a short-term relationship (one session or a handful of sessions) deal with the current issue or problem you are struggling with
Therapy - Therapy or Psychotherapy is a medium to long-term relationship you build with a certified therapist who takes the time to understand your past, your behavioural patterns developed over time and long-standing concerns/issues you may have. Therapy is a deeper form of counseling and generally aims at equipping the individual with tools to improve themselves and the way they perceive the world around them
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT WORKS FOR ME? COUNSELING OR THERAPY?
Good news! This is a decision you don't have to make on your own. Once you reach out to a therapist/counselor...they should be able to, after the first session or two, give you an idea of what approach might work better. Take the time to discuss and find the best way for you

WHAT IS THE FEES?
The 'Services' tab on the top of the home page will show you what are the services I offer and the financials for each.

The payment needs to be made in advance through a bank transfer for a preferred set of 4 sessions (1 month)
WHAT WILL BE THE TIME FOR EACH SESSION AND THE FREQUENCY OF SESSIONS
Generally therapy is done on a weekly basis and each session is for about 45-60 minutes.

Therapy, by definition, takes time. It involves understanding the person and their past and then try various approaches to better the situation. The number of sessions each person might go through will be different
I HAD TRIED THERAPY EARLIER BUT IT DIDN'T WORK. HOW DO I KNOW IF THIS WILL?
Therapy involves a relationship of trust between the therapist and the client. If you are not feeling 'heard' by your therapist or are not connecting with him/her, let them know. A good therapist should be willing to either work with you on your feedback or refer you to someone else.

Finding the comfort, trust, and rapport with your therapist is critical for your treatment to be a success. Do not hesitate to share your concerns, if any, with your therapist.
WHAT MEDIUM WILL THE THERAPY BE CONDUCTED THROUGH?
Therapy can be in-person, online (via chat), on a phone or through a video call. I offer therapy through video call or phone, depending on your location and convenience. All you need is good connectivity!
